Third Workshop on Text Simplification, Accessibility and Readability

TSAR 2024 @ EMNLP 2024

The Text Simplification, Accessibility, and Readability (TSAR) workshop aims at bringing together researchers, developers and industries of assistive technologies, public organizations representatives, and other parties interested in the problem of making information more accessible to all citizens. We will discuss recent trends and developments in the area of automatic text simplification, automatic readability assessment, language resources and evaluation for text simplification, etc.

The workshop will be an in-person event held during the EMNLP 2024 conference on 15 November, 2024.

  • 08 November 2024: Proceedings of TSAR 2024 are now available in the ACL Anthology.
  • 01 October 2024: If you have paper accepted to Findings of any *ACL conference this year that could be relevant to our workshop, and it has not been presented before, you now have a chance! If interested, please fill in this form: https://forms.gle/JHifd19qugVEJCho7.
  • 30 September 2024: Check the instructions for Camera Ready versions of accepted papers.
  • 05 September 2024: Submission Deadline Extended! You now have until September 09 (AoE) to send your paper.
  • 26 August 2024: Submissions can now be made via START.
  • 09 July 2024: You can now request an Invitation Letter to apply for a visa to attend the workshop.
  • 25 June 2024: Call for Papers is out! Submit your papers by 6 September 2024.
